About Danielle Giddins

My Story

Danielle Giddins is a veteran in the hair care industry. As a single mother raising two daughters, she began her journey to become a professional Cosmetologist in 1998. With hard work and perseverance, Danielle completed her certification and landed a position at a premier hair salon in Baltimore City.

Relentless is the word that describes Danielle’s dedication to her craft. Because her vision was beyond being a stylist, she gained knowledge and expertise in Business Management, Team Building, and Salon Operations. In addition to her work in the salon, she maintained her vision of owning a spa and completed a Massage Therapy course as well.

In April of 2015, Danielle’s vision came to fruition.  She birthed, A Virtuous Touch Salon and Spa, where both cosmetology and massage therapy would be a catalyst to empower and encourage health and wellness. Danielle assures that your salon visit will leave you with a lasting impression; one that will entail great conversation, rejuvenation, laughter, prayer or sharing the Word of God. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, she mentors aspiring beauty professionals to ensure that they build a strong foundation and a lasting legacy.

Throughout the years, Danielle has been extremely blessed to be able to not only serve her clients, but also develop strong and enduring personal relationships with many of them. These are relationships that Danielle holds very dear.  The most important relationship she has developed during her journey has been with God.  The more her relationship with God grew, so did her vision to offer a more personal and unique service to woman; services that would not only minister to the beauty but also to the mind and spirit.

Danielle’s passion is to cater to her clientele consistently with impeccable service, which is the foundation of her brand. Danielle’s clients come with the expectation and she obliges by providing intimate client care with the use of professional products and most importantly professional customer service.  It is her desire to nurse and maintain healthy hair to its maximum potential with preventive treatment plans and reassuring internal health habits for the body.   She is versed in all textures of hair whether it be natural, relaxed or color treated.

Danielle Merged with her daughter Tykira Ceaser, in 2017 and they are now partners of their own brick and mortar salon business in Owings Mills that was attained during the 2020 pandemic. As the spa portion of their salon manifested, they attained sustainability within the business, giving Danielle the freedom to work on other projects. She launched The Bankable Beauty Professional to help struggling stylists stabilize the foundation of their business through digital education and mentorship. Her most recent project was birthed out of a need to share her life story with her daughters to make sure they didn’t repeat her past mistakes but ultimately would help heal and free many women. From Poverty & Prison to Purpose: A Journey to Discovering Freedom is Danielle’s first book. She released three compelling commercials that were a surprise to many who have come to know her through her business relationships, which spoke volumes to the phrase “ you see my glory but don’t know my story” and she wanted to drive home to others that no matter what you experience in life when it seems like there is no way out of rock bottom, there is Glory after death if you believe! It is her Hope to leave a Legacy for her family and to live out every God-given purpose for her life.

My daughters were my reason and not my excuse. I was going to be successful.

Danielle is a pleasure to work with. She is very down to earth and motivates you to thrive. She sets the atmosphere for you to open up and express your fears or concerns then position you to move forward. She helped me to see I’m more then just a stylist, I’m a business owner. She help me create my vision and mission statement for the salon. Which helps me to have more of a purpose and passion for my business. She also assisted me with other business tools so I can be successful.

Salon Owner

I met Danielle during the Spring of 2016 at the BBBE. From the first moment I met her, she was charismatic and amiable.  I believe she saw something in me I didn’t quite see in myself yet.  As I watched her grow as a stylist, to say the least I was inspired.  We both had businesses in the same location, and I asked if she could mentor me.  Let me tell you when I asked that I had no idea what I was in for.  She pushed me to see my full potential in all aspects of my business. It was like I had a bunch of pots on the stove trying to get that perfect blend.  Danielle would not let me quit. I still review my notes and continue to implement what I have learned.  Danielle is an excellent mentor and I recommend her to anyone that needs guidance.

Ms. Danielle is my mentor and has been a great role to me. She has been an inspiration to me as a woman and a stylist. I have learned many things in the two years I have been working with Ms. Danielle. One thing I know she makes sure the job gets done and that it’s done right. Her hard work reflects in her work and the people she surrounds herself with. She is a caring and loving individual. I not only look at her as a great mentor, but like a second mother and a good friend.
